Thanks to all of you for joining the SWARM and creeping and crawling along with us on this new bestiary book! We appreciate your support for Legendary Games and hope you continue to help spread the word on this project as we wind up our first week! Spread the word wherever you see us post on social media or share it yourselves to your friends and fellow gamers! We'd love to see this project continue to grow and we can use every teeny tiny member of the swarm to keep expanding the whole mass!
Speaking of mass, I wanted to share a little preview of the neutron starling swarm, little flying fiends who can really throw their weight around!

Evasion. If the neutron starling swarm is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, the swarm instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the save, and only half damage if it fails.
Momentous Slam. If the neutron starling swarm moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits with its slams attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 26 (4d12) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Swarm. The neutron starling swarm can occupy another creature’s space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny bird. The swarm can’t regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
ACTIONS
Multiattack. The neutron starling swarm makes one slams attack and two talons attacks. The talons attacks must target two different creatures.
Slams. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm’s space. Hit: 78 (12d12) bludgeoning damage, or 39 (6d12) bludgeoning damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer, and the target is grappled (escape DC 20) if it is a Large or smaller creature. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and takes 26 (4d12) bludgeoning damage at the start of each of its turns, and the swarm can’t use Slams on another target. If the swarm scores a critical hit, the target must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm’s space. Hit: 18 (4d8) slashing damage, or 9 (2d8) slashing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.
Thanks to all for a sensationally slithery start!

The first 24 hours are in the books for SWARMS and we've already crested 200 backers and with more joining the gathering swarm all the time! We offer special thankssss to backer N. Sparks as #100 and the succinctly surnamed S as #200!
As our early backers, I wanted to share even more of our art for some of the weirder swarms in the book. Sure, we've got rats and army ants and snakes and all the rest, but now you can unleash animated silverware, crabberries, levivescent swarms, smokelings, and hungry penguins!
We hope you love this bestiary book when it arrives and that you'll look into our full line of Legendary Bestiaries if you haven't already! They will bring some amazing new creatures to your campaign!
Last but not least, please share the good word about this campaign with all of your fellow 5E fans, Pathfinder players, and Black Flag buddies so they can get in on the swarm too!
