Hi all,
Check your email for the Smoke Test coming from Backerkit! This will go out to 5% of our backers to give us a chance to make sure everything is working properly. Check your emails this afternoon to see if you're one of the randomly selected recipients and reply ASAP!
Once we check responses and make sure there are no glitches, we'll send out the survey to everyone tomorrow!

Hi all,
We submitted our Backerkit survey for approval and are waiting to hear back from Backerkit central before we can send it out to all of you. They are closed on weekends but we expect to have approval at the beginning of next week and we'll be able to get it out to you with a smoke test first and then for everyone, and we can start getting surveys processed!
Thanks again for making this project a reality and we are excited to get your rewards coming!

We appreciate your support for this project and making it a reality, with a special tip of the cap to Hi as backer #400 and to James D, our final backer at #440 just a few minutes before closing! Your pledges make these books possible and it's been fun to share the new artwork we've commissioned through your generosity to make this bestiary beautiful!
In past Kickstarters, we've broken up pledges by game system (so we'd have separate pledge levels for Swarms PDF 5E and Swarms PDF PF1 and Swarms PDF PF2 and so on). That had the advantage of clarity of exactly how many folks were signing up for each one but also made our pledge levels very cluttered. For this project, we decided to try going the opposite direction and have a small number of pledge levels with selection of game system happening on the back end, in your Backerkit survey. On the plus side, it made the pledges very simple and clear. The downside, of course, is that we can't do immediate fulfillment like we usually do with QUICK-starters because we don't know which backers pledged for which systems.
Not to worry, as fulfillment will still be happening very soon. I've already started working on the Backerkit survey and will get that submitted for approval next week. Once we've got it approved and finalized, we'll send out first a "smoke test" to a small slice of backers to make sure everything is working properly, and after that we'll get it sent out to everyone. Once we've got around 75% of backers responding, we'll start locking orders and charging cards for shipping, late add-ons, etc. When that happens, you'll be able to download your PDFs directly from your Backerkit account and we'll be able to start shipping books from the printer to you!
Thanks again for all that you do to make us Legendary, and we hope you love these books as soon as they arrive! We'll keep you up to date as VTT modules are completed and available for you!

While we love the Worm that Walks artwork we used for our temporary cover, we also have been working on a new piece of cover art special for this book. We had meant it as kind of a pseudo stretch goal when we hit $10,000 and we're almost there (and I felt confident we would before we launched), so I wanted to share it with you! There will be a little bit of tweaking on the final details, but overall I'm pretty delighted by how it came together from artist Arrahman Rendi!
Of course, if you tell me you like the placeholder art better, we can always stick with WORMY!!!
